How to play StarCraft?
In the beginning you can choose one of the three races: Terran, Zerg, or Protoss. You start at a randomly selected place on the map and the goal of each game is to break the enemy base using your collection of combat units. In the beginning you have a base and units that dig up minerals. Minerals are one of the resources needed to create the buildings. The other resource is vespene gas that you can get at a later stage in the game. These resources also help you to create combat units and make building upgrades.
- Terran - Terrains are human exiles from Earth in StarCraft. They have an average unit price and their buildings can be built almost anywhere. They also have good protection and mobility. Another useful element is that they can repair their buildings, but this needs to be paid with resources.
- Protoss - Protoss units cost on average more expensive but are extremely powerful. All constructed buildings must be in a certain range of buildings called Pylon. All structures and units have a shield that regenerates over time.
- Zerg - The Zerg race produces cheap units in bulk and has one production building management. Buildings should be built on a surface called creep, but this provides an advantage in moving the friendly units. Generally, in this race, buildings occupy the smallest area of the map.
Starcraft is perhaps one of the first, if not the first, electronic sports to bet on. However, there are currently other sports that are more popular among bettors. Blizzard has created the game with the intention to accomplish an even balance between the races, but this is not always the case. Some races are stronger on given maps and vice versa. So it is a good idea to do a preliminary study, on which map will be played on a given match, the teams with what races they like to play and how they perform with the race. To become better at eSports betting, we recommend you to choose a favorite in a particular match before you have seen the odds offered by a bookmaker. This will give you experience that will be useful in the future.
Can you play StarCraft on mobile?
The question is: why should you play StarCraft on your mobile phone? Well, we are thinking, that playing the game on your mobile has the following two benefits over just playing it on your computer:
- You can play StarCraft when you are outside (at school, at work, etc.)
- You can hide your war strategy, if you are in one room with your opponents.
StarCraft does not have an Android or an iOS application, but still you can play it on your mobile phone. For that, you need to install a remote stream application (Remotr) on your mobile device and your computer. Then you can connect your mobile device to your computer and play StarCraft.
