New content in this video game includes adding new game-play and new card sets, which comes as either expansion packs or adventures which earn rewards for the players like collectible cards when the adventure is completed.

Hearthstone was initially developed as an experimental game with a smaller team. It was designed so that it could avoid the pitfalls that affect other versions of digital collectible card games by removing the possibility of players from the opposing player while one player is taking their turn and also by replicating the feel of physical cards game through its interface where the players play the game. The art assets and concepts have been driven by the physical version of the World of Warcraft Trading Card game.

Hearthstone is a turn-based, digital-only collectible card game that has been set within the Warcraft universe. This game has two players who compete against each other. Hearthstone has nine classes which include Paladin, Warrior, Priest, Druid, Shaman, Warlock, Rogue, and Mage. With each of the classes having their unique cards and hero powers which are the unique abilities of each hero, the class archetypes are defined.

Each of the two players uses a deck of cards from their collections with the mission of reducing the health of the opponent’s hero down to zero. Each deck of cards contains four different kinds of cards which include hero cards, spells, minions, and weapons. The game producers Blizzard, release expansion packs throughout the year to add more cards which helps increase variety in the game. This game is free to play with the option of buying additional card packs or other content.

All of the cards included in the game cost ‘mana’ which describes the budget which each player has to stick to which increases once after each turn up to a total of ten times.
