The Marathonbet constructor is a new betting feature where you select two virtual teams made up of players (teams) participating in real matches and bet on the outcome of those competing virtual teams. Bets are paid based on the total points earned by all players (teams) in their actual matches. For now you can use this feature only for football and tennis, but you can not combine both sports in the same bet slip.
How can you create these virtual teams?
They are created according to the following rules:
- Opponents in a real match can not be from the same team;
- A member can only be included in one virtual team;
- Each member can only be selected once for a virtual team;
- Each virtual team can consist of 1 to 5 members participating in real matches; opponents in a real match cannot be the only participants in two virtual teams, and the teams can consist of different numbers of members;
- Virtual teams can include players from Doubles matches (for the Tennis Bet Constructor).
How do I determine if the bet is winning?
To determine the results for the proposed markets, the following is added: For football events - the number of goals scored by each participant of a virtual team in a real match, and for tennis events - the number of seats won by each participant in a virtual team in a real match.
On what markets can be bet?
Bets are accepted for the following betting markets: Match Results, Double Chance, Results of Handicap Matches, and Total Goals. For tennis, the handicap and under/over is applied to the sets played.
Only single bets are accepted in the Marathon constructor. Bets are paid once after all the real games (from which the participants of the virtual teams are taken) are finished. If a real match, a participant of which was selected to be a member of a virtual team, is considered interrupted or canceled in accordance with Marathonbet Rules, then all bets on the competition between the virtual teams are voided excluding those instances when the markets’ results are already determined.
Example:
You have selected the following 2 games: Schalke 04 - Redbull Leipzig and Stuttgart - Hoffenheim. Let's say the two bold teams are our favorites for each event, but we are not sure if they will win straight. Using the Marathonbet Constructor feature, we make the following virtual teams

The new questions are: which virtual team will win - Team 1 or Team 2. If we assume that we have chosen to bet Team 2 to win. Here is what will happen if the matches finish like this: Schalke 04 - Redburn Leipzig 1:1 and Stuttgart - Hoffenheim 0:1. In that case, Team 1 has scored 1 goal and Team 2 has scored 2 goals so Team 2 wins and our bet has won too. Similarly if you bet on a market over 2.5 goals, you will get a total of 3 goals, which will also make your bet winning.
Marathonbet's constructor is very similar to the bet slip type - combo, which is a standard option for every online bookmaker, but this feature has the advantage that it is not necessary all teams in the combo to win their games. If one of the teams scores more goals than the total goals of the other teams, that's enough. There is also the disadvantage, when using this constructor, the total odd that is obtained is noticeably less than the odds you can achieve in a straight column, but as we already said - the chance is greater.
